This recipe was in my items to be experimented list, since a long time but kept on avoiding due to some or the other reasons. And finally I made it today as my hubby has not gone to his clinic for my son wanted him to be at home in the evening to take him and his sis for swimming.
I really can relate to his feelings since as kids, we also used to wait for our dad to reach home early so that he could either take us out for a walk or shopping or play badminton with us and thus save us from the daily 2hrs study time which amma was very particular about.
I guess fathers are more lenient with kids. Is that so ?....
At times my little son cribs about why his dad isn't home by 7 pm or so unlike his friend's dad. He is yet to understand the nature of his dad's profession although he gets excited when I tell him that his father is a Doctor and being in medical line he needs to be available in his clinics in the evening hours as well.

Now back to Honey coated vegetable balls, I decided upon this recipe as I was sure that this sweet and spicy snack would cater to my family's sweet tooth and at the same time would provide all the nutrient stuff included in this snack. And I must say it came out really well and we all loved spending time together in the evening gorging ourselves on this delectable snack.
This really goes well with tea. Can also be served as a starter. I have used veggies like 'Cabbage, green peas, potato along with Nutrela's soya granules' to prepare it. You can use any vegetable of your choice and also can be prepared using just plain potato as well.. Yeah then it would be called 'Honey coated potato balls' .
Do try this . I am sure you all will love this crunchy, munchy "Honey coated vegetable balls".
