I am sure Mangoes, The king of fruits are everyone's all time favourite fruit, and love to include in some or the other form in the diet. One can prepare so many different beverages,
desserts and curries using mangoes. No wonder that's why Mango is the national fruit of three countries - India, Philippines and Pakistan. It truly deserves to be the national fruit of any country.

And one such item "Mango milkshake" prepared from sweet and juicy mangoes is one of the favourite drinks during summer in our home. We all love it for the fact that its very refreshing and fulfilling.
So grab some mangoes, that are in season and prepare this delicious nutritionally rich drink which is loaded with vitamins, minerals, dietary fibre and antioxidant compounds.
Ingredients Quantity
Ripe mangoes chopped :1 cup
Cold milk/Coconut milk :2 cups (First extract or ready made)
Cardamom : 2
Honey/Sugar as per taste
Ice cubes : few
- Wash and peel the mangoes, cut the them into small pieces.
- In a blender, add the mango, honey, ice cubes and cardamom and blend into fine paste by adding little quantity of coconut milk.
- Add the remaining milk also as per the consistency of the shake.
- Pour into tall glass and serve either chilled or just like that.
Tips :
- I have used coconut milk as it gives a distinct flavour, you can use cow's milk instead.
- Add sugar or honey as per the sweetness of mango.
