Soya bean granules thoran |
We all know the health benefits of Soya bean and one can have it in any form, be it as beans, chunks or granules. Soy is cholesterol free and an excellent source of protein especially for vegetarians and hence I always try to include Soya in any form in the diet chart 2-3 times in a week. Although I love the Soya chunks curry my mom prepares using typical Kerala masala but I also liked the thoran prepared using the soy granules.
I used Nutrela brand's soy granules. Its very simple to make this dish, all one needs to do is to soak them in lukewarm water for 5-10 mins and then drain/squeeze the water completely out of it and prepare the thoran as you would prepare any other vegetable kerala style thoran.
One can have this as a side dish with rice.
